I decided to look up resolution in the dictionary--
res•o•lu•tion [rez•uh•loo•shun] n. The state or quality of being resolute; firm determination. 2. A formal statement of a decision or expression. 3. Firmness of purpose.
Well, well, well, I really like the 3rd definition, Firmness of purpose. I what to be FIRM with my goals for the year. I want to make a FORMAL STATEMENT. Something that I will be held accountable for. These resolutions, goals are not just something I think would be a "good idea" to do this year, but rather---things I really really really want to do, and will do!
I've heard that having a goal is good, but once you write it down it becomes visual, something you can really focus on. And once the goal is shared--now you are not only held accountable to yourself, others now know and can not only support but check up on you. Please feel free to do that to me : ).

Wow! You have been thinking! You inspire me but only insomuch as making a goal to make goals. I just want to know where you find the time and the energy to make resolutions. Although I will make my spiritual and family resolutions; FHE every week, scripture study daily. How do you like that. In my comment I just made two resolutions. Thanks,Steph!
Hey these are good resolutions. I just wanted to comment on your Pay off debt get rid of credit cards. I work in the credit repair industry and while it is good to pay off the debt you need to keep some credit cards. Once you close them your credit score will actually decrease whereas paying them off and keeping them current (with or without a balance) will increase your credit score in the future. The reason is every month you have a line of credit with a credit card company they are required to report the activity to the credit bureaus. Without a credit card there is nothing to report thus you score will decrease. I hope this make sense. Anyway try and keep at least 2 cards (or your mortgage and 1 card).
Again good luck and I hope you met all your goals.
You constantly AMAZE me...SERIOUSLY! I love your goals, and they are very inspiring. Also, just because I'm planning to do a half marathon in April...I don't always run the 3 miles without stopping. My average is usually 12-13 minutes per mile. And hey, with out long legs...that's practically only speedwalking;-)
Stephine- We are coming to Utah in Febuary. Would love to see you and your family.
