A miracle happened today!!!
This morning Dan left for Mexico. He'll be gone for 2 weeks. I must admit. I've been a bit overwhelmed with not being able to have a break for 2 weeks. Having the boys all to myself. The weather is bad, which means we have to be inside all day--and let's face it, it is pretty hard to take 5 boys grocery shopping alone--needless to say I've been a bit stressed out!. This morning I woke up at 4:00 am so send Dan off. Then the boys came in at about 8:30. I was thinking to myself I have to make sure that I don't get stressed out--I took a deep breath and headed down stairs to make breakfast. Kyle and Jack got up, had a bottle and as I picked up Jack to change is diaper--he began to vomit!! Not just once, but about 3 times. If you can imagine curdled milk all over my carpet , and the smell!! It was terrible. Thank goodness Cody is such a big helper I hollered to him "Cody, come and get Kyle he's headed right for Jack's through-up" Cody came running and put Kyle in his high chair--I kept thinking I need to clean up the carpet so that the smell doesn't get STUCK in the carpet forever. But I had to bathe the baby first! We were both covered in it. As Jack was bathing in the kitchen sink (it's so much easier that way) the phone rang..."hello".... "Hi I'm calling because we are going to be in your area tomorrow and for the rest of the weeks doing a promotion for our new business of CARPET CLEANING and we were wondering if you would like us to come by and have a couple of areas cleaned FOR FREE!!!!!!!" I couldn't believe it, I even looked around to see if there was someone watching me from a window or something!!! To make a long story short---the carpet cleaning people will be here tomorrow at 5 pm to help the puke smell and get my carpets looking as good as new. As for Jack--it's not good poor baby, he can't keep anything down, hopefully it's just a 24 hour thing. All I can say is that MIRACLES do happen every day---sometimes we do have to look for them. But we are continually blessed!!! Even when there is a puking baby~~~

Hey Steph --
Debbie Downer here. So sorry to pass this along -- but I can't not tell you. There was a salesman doing this same promtion in our area about 6 months ago who was really selling vacuums. He was at the Balls' home for more than three hours and they couldn't get the guy to leave (and he never did clean any of their carpet). You may want to check with Deanna and see if this is the same company.
Oh my gosh, I think that is awesome! Heavenly Father is watching out for you!
Good luck while your husband is away. I'm sure you'll do just fine. It seems like my kids always get sick when Luke goes out of town. It does make the job a little more difficult. But you seem to have it all together. This might be a good time to come visit.
2 weeks!!! O my gosh, I feel for ya. Hey if you ever need company I will totally come down, just maybe not this week because my mom is coming for a few days, but next week for sure. Hopefully everyone in your fam doesn't get that stomach flu, especially you. And we will probably not come over until that is totally gone because you know how I am with stomach flu's. Instacare IV's are not fun. Hey by the way we were at the Fashion Place mall on Sat and they totally have a Janie and Jack now. I didn't even know. I thought that might make your day a little bit. Talk to you later.
