1. I love nursery rhymes. I have many Mother Goose books and I've even passed on this "random" love to my boys. They love reading nursery rhymes too. In fact they are even soothing to my boys. Yesterday I went to Albertson's and on the way home, it was chaos in the car, 2 tired and sad babies, and three others who just were not getting along. I started to sing quite softly "Hush little baby don't say a word, mama's gonna buy you a mocking bird, and if that mocking bird don't sing, mama's gonna buy you a diamond ring, and if that diamond ring turns to brass mama's gonna buy you a looking glass. And if that looking glass gets broke, mama's gonna buy you a billy goat and if that billy goat runs away mama's gonna buy you another day." Once the song was over ... PEACE. All 5 boys were just sitting there listening and wanting me to sing another song. Too cute...I love Nursery Rhymes.
2. I love shoes. Really, when I'm having a bad day one thing that can make me happy no matter what is going to Nordstrom and buying a new pair (or 2) of shoes. :) (especially heels!, remember it's beauty before comfort : ))
3. I love to send out Christmas cards. I probably send out 150 or so each Christmas. I even send Christmas cards to Chile to keep in touch with the people I met on my mission there.
4. I have always wanted to be a spanish teacher. I had my 1st spanish class in the 1st grade. Even since then I have always loved the language. Then in high school I had an amazing teacher, and I wanted to be just like her. Since I'm not a teacher, I've tried to teach my children some spanish.
5. I love to cook and bake. I love the Food Network channel. I love trying new recipes. My favorite chefs on the Food Network are Ina Garten from the Barefoot Contessa, and I love the new show called The Cooking Loft with Alex Guarnaschelli. Yummmmm
6. I have played the piano since Kindergarten. One random fact about that is in the 3rd grade while at piano lessons I broke my arm. Now a days I don't play very often, but I do play every Monday for Family Home Evening!!
7. I love to watch Days of Our Lives. I know TOTALLY LAME, but I'm addicted!!! LOL :) It's true. I have watched the show for a good 20 years. That sure does sound terrible. The saddest part (besides being a waste of time) the story hasn't changed at all, but I must say they suck me in and I TiVO it daily!
8. I love to be with my family. Wether it be playing games (which we LOVE to do) Or just hanging out talking and laughing. It is so much fun when all of my siblings get together and we can just kick it. It is also a lot of fun now that 3 of us have children and seeing them play together is great. What joy families are!
I could go on, but I will no longer bore you. haha

Girl, Girl, Girl! Haven't I known you all my life, and how is it that I didn't know these random facts! Just when you think you know someone....LOL Hey do you have a DVD of the show? I'm DYING to see it, but been down with a nasty cold. Can I get a copy of it to watch or OWN? Dan's the man, can he get me a TIVO'd DVD copy? I'm dying to see it!
Wow, I had no idea you served a mission? Since we are the same age, we must have been out at the same time. I stayed here in the States in the Deep South. I bet Chile was a neat experience. So fun to learn more about you!
