Well our crazy Cody (5) is addicted to infomercials!
Anything he sees on TV he thinks is the greatest!! He can quote what they say too. He thinks the "ShamWow" is the best "time saver" it can clean your truck and your boat-- We don't even own a truck or a boat!!!
Another one of his favorites is the "Snuggie". "Mom this is so cool you can be nice and cozy and even be able to change the channel!!! Can I please get the blue one?"
But today took the cake!
Cody: "Mom, you know what you NEED to get"?
Mom: "What"?
Cody: "Nutrisystem"!!!!
I began to smile and then I thought to myself "wow my 5 year old son thinks I'm carrying a few extra pounds. Doesn't he realize that I have been going to the gym Monday - Friday for a few months now!!! So what if I've had 5 kids in 4 years, I think I look pretty &%#$ good if I do say so myself!
I looked at the TV and saw her!! What, does he want me to look like this????
Mom: "Cody, why would I want Nutrisystem"? I tried to say this without any sarcasm in my voice.
Cody: "Well He couldn't play football very well. He got Nutrisystem and then he could play football again. I just think it would be cool if you got Nutrisystem so then we could play football together"!!!!
Mom: "Thanks a lot Dan Marino"!!!!!

I love that. Hannah is the same way... she wants that toothpaste dispenser, and we are the proud owners of bendaroos.
oh my heavens. I literally just laughed out loud. I love when you post about the funny things your kids say. And I have to agree, you look DANG good. I always brag about you to my friends. they know you as the "super hot mom who had 5 kids in 4 years and is still drop dead gorgeous." I talk about you all the time. :)

Cody Dan, you can come to Grandma LaPray's and use the Snuggle blanket, it's even blue!!! Yes, she bought one... :) Can't wait to see you guys! Can't believe it's coming up SO soon!!!
I am laughing so hard! We've seen the Snuggie informercial and laughed and laughed at all those poor models. The best is the photos of them all at the football game wearing snuggie robes. What a cute nerd family all dressed in Star Wars robes!
Oh my goodness that is too funny. It's amazing what kids pick up on. At least his reasoning for the nutrisystem is nice and innocent, the way a 5 yr old should be. :)
That is too funny! It's amazing the things kids can remember after watching t.v.
SO FUNNY! Olivia does the same thing. Every time we brush her teeth she tells me about the toothpaste dispenser from an infomercial that we "really need" and proceeds to tell me all the pluses and that it even comes in different colors! KIDS!
That is so funny! My Bailee is the same way. At our house it is "Cash for Gold" and "The touch and Brush". Kids are so funny. Their minds are like little sponges:)
