...April 2013...

 

April started out PERFECT!

It was Spring Break and we started it out at the park!

The kids LOVED it and I LOVED the warm weather!

Conference weekend we had some visitors.

Dave and Melissa came for the weekend!

We always love when they come to visit.

We started off their stay by going out to dinner.

We tried SLAB PIZZA for the 1st time!

It did NOT disappoint!

Then on Saturday and Sunday we were able to

hear from the men of God!

I'm so grateful for a living prophet!

To be inspired and be taught by these men is such a blessing.

April 9 is a great day!

It's the birthday of my grandmother Baba

and today, this special day has been tripled in value!

Today is also the day Cruz Tyrone, Kash Dabo and Julie Lynn

call their birthday too...

This was such a special day!

I am so grateful I was able to be there and share this

wonderful moment with my sister.

I am so thrilled for my sister!

She is FINALLY a mother!

Long awaited and WELL worth the wait!

3 new babies to love on!

How wonderful!

Curtis was in California when he got the call

at 4:00 in the morning that the babies were coming!

He got right in the car and DROVE the 10 hours..

here he is meeting Cruz for the 1st time!

YAY!!!  He's a daddy!!!

 In my life I have been blessed to be surrounded by amazing women!

This women will go down in history as being on the top 

of that list!

Jamie has given Kim and Curtis the most amazing blessing

....a family...

How selfless, how loving, how miraculous!

What a wonderful sister-in-law,

what a wonderful Auntie!

 Finally, Finally...these two have the family they have dreamed of!

April 12th Friday Lunch!

Today instead of going to a new restaurant 

Nancy and I went to go see Kim and the triplets!

I just love visiting them!

After we saw the babies we decided that we still needed lunch

and the Cafe Rio was calling our names!

 So we decided to break the Lunch Rule this once!

But you can never go wrong with cafe Rio!

 Since Lia has curly hair she wakes up with the

CRAZIEST bed head!!

Here she is one Saturday morning, getting a horsey ride from daddy!

She loves him so much and she got him wrapped around her finger!

 Sunday we went up to see the babies again!

I got to hold Cruz today!

They are the sweetest babies!

I really could hold them all day long!

The boys auditioned for the school play.

And call it divine intervention....

they ALL made the play!

Cody is Towns people #1

Luke is Towns people #3

And Steven was an acrobat!

They all did such a great job!

I was so proud of all three!!!

 This is a day when they performed for the student body!

On April 15th....

Cody got BRACES!!!!

 ...and of course he chose the colors

Blue & White for BYU!!!

Baseball season has BEGUN!!!

Cody is on the Yankees this year and 

Daddy is his coach!!!

This is going to be such a fun year.

He's in the Minor league this year

He is really excited!

This year we have a YOUNG team.

Usually Minor League is made up of 

9 and 10 year old's, our team is all 9 year old's...

so next year we are going to be awesome!

This year is our "growing" year...

 GO YANKEES!!

Lia has fallen in love with Elmo...

All of my kids around 18 months love Elmo 

and she's no different!

I've been spending a lot of time at the hospital with Kim.

 Baseball has started for Steven and Luke too.

They are on the Pirates!

They definitely knew each other in heaven before they were born!

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit.

I got at my baby shower in California.

She LOVES it!

It's perfect cause she's our little princess!

The family all got together for dinner on Sunday...

And I caught Esther and Lia

together on the chair and had

to take their picture!

These 2 are only 10 weeks apart 

and I can tell they are going to be great friends!

Nothing better than having a cousin and a bestie!!

On April 24th I went with some friends

to St. George on a girls get away!

Daddy was such a trooper and held down the fort!

He even tried to do Lia's hair!

I think this is one of my favorite pictures EVER!!!

 Her hair, her part, her bow, her shirt, and best of

her face!

It's like she's saying, "seriously dad! I look funny!"

While dad was holding down the fort,

We were out shopping, eating, and LAUGHING, a lot!!

Seriously the best friends anyone could ask for!

 We left on Wednesday afternoon

and Thursday we went to Vegas...

Shopping, Bra fittings, food and laughter!

 Dinner at Ruth's Chris that night!

It was just a perfect day!

 Friday, we spent the day at the pool!

AAHHH the sun felt great!

It was fabulous!

 Friday night we all went to the temple!

It was a great evening!

 The St. George Temple is just beautiful!

 That night for dinner we had Sushi!

A first for me!

And I LOVED IT!!!

 Jamie and I shared the Vegas Roll...

 Aimee got the Cream Cheese Roll

and I tried one Rice, Cream Cheese, Salmon, and Cucumber!

It was yummy too!

 Andrea got the Pink Lady, I tried one of hers too.

Tuna, Rice, and a Tuna Tartar in the middle.

Yummy as well!!! 

I think I have a new favorite thing to eat!

 Saturday morning we had breakfast at Bear Claw....

Eggs over easy, bacon, breakfast fries, 

and Chocolate Cream stuffed french toast!!!

We sure did eat well on the vacation!

After breakfast we stopped of at SWIG

And got a Dirty Diet Coke and a sugar cookie.

The Dirty Diet Coke is a Diet Coke with Coconut Syrup

It is DELICIOUS!!!

It was a great GIRLS VACATION and we

are already planning our next trip!!

I was looking thru the pictures on my phone and I 

came across this beauty!

I love these two so much!

Having twins is so wonderful!

They are the best boys and the best friends!

What more could I ask for!!

And being best friends also means getting into

trouble together too!

Jack came to me with wet clothes telling me Kyle had peed on him.

Kyle also had wet clothes and said that Jack peed on him too!

With a shower, change of clothes and some time in time-out

They promised that would never happen again!
