This morning I went in to wake Cody up at 7:30--
I rubbed his shoulder, his eyes popped open
He looked at me and then sat up
got the biggest grin on his face and said,
"It's the 1st day of school"!!!
He is so excited!!!
I can't believe it!
My oldest is in 1st grade!

And sitting at his desk!
Getting ready to work!
The Flag Ceremony--
Watching as the flag is raising on the flag pole.
Mr. Beckwith (the Principal)
and the Boy Scouts raising the flag.
And the Ceremony would not be complete
without the cannon!!
What a great tradition--
Start the 1st day with the Pledge of Allegiance, the National Anthem to
make sure the children know and are grateful for this country!
