Well we made our 2nd trip to the ER. And it was our 2nd time for stitches. Last year it was Luke's turn 3 stitches in his hand. Well this time it was Steven and he got 3 stitches in the back of his head. The "Big"boys were playing on the top bunk bed not sure how it happened but Steven managed to fall out of the space for the ladder backwards and land on the bed frame of the other bed. All I heard from upstairs was a scream I won't forget. Then I see Dan running downstairs holding Steven's head. He too was freaking out--I was trying to remain calm cool and collected. I made a couple of phone calls and a neighbor was over and we were off to the ER. Here are several pictures of the night he got the stitches and getting them out. Steven was so brave!!!
I only wonder--with 5 boys how many times will we be making the trip to the ER??
