August starts off every year with a BIRTHDAY!!

On August 1st Dan turned 39!!!

The kids love celebrating with him, and get

I can not believe they are 8....

these last 8 years have truly flown by.

They are 2 of the closest brothers ever!

They are each others best friends!

They can not be next to each other without touching.

They have the best sense of humors.

and can make anyone laugh.

I love them dearly!!!

I put 8 stickers on the back of my car!

I can not tell you how many people have stopped me

and made comment about my stickers!!

Tonight was quite the job!

6 kids, 2 hands each, 2 feet each = 120 nails cut!

it took about 30 minutes!

Gross.....

it looks so nice when their nails are clipped...

Lia's hair is getting longer and still curly!

I love putting her hair in pig tail and seeing

her cute ringlets!

 after the pool I showered and was getting ready and Lia

kept asking for me to put makeup on her as well...

so I did!  She's such a doll... and such a GIRL!

I wondered how she would be with 5 older brothers...

she is just a girly as I had hoped!

Grandma Julie gave the boys a gift card to Target for 

their birthday... they couldn't wait to spend it!

Here they are deciding on what to buy!

Tonight we went through the Manti temple for the 1st time.

My cousin Nick Patton is getting married in a week and his

finance went through tonight and we couldn't miss it!

What a beautiful temple inside and out!

School supplies....

means school is just around the corner.

Today we celebrated Raichl's birthday.

She is living with us for her senior year of high school.

it's fun to have another girl in the house!

It's the 1st day of SCHOOL!!!

I can not believe summer is officially over!!!

 Everyone was sooooo excited and 

could not wait to go to school!

Especially Kyle and Jack!

They could not wait to go to Kindergarten!! 

 One person was DEVASTATED!!!

Lia...Poor thing....she just cried and cried..

and kept saying, "where are my boys?"

She sure does love her brothers...

 I am the 1st counselor in the Young Women's in our ward.

This weekend was Youth Conference...

I have the best girls EVER and we got 100% attendance...

can't beat that!

Now that Luke and Steven are 8...

They are Cub Scouts!!!

They are so excited about being in the scouting program.

I'm going to know the scouting program

backwards and forwards...
