February in Pictures (part 2)

For Valentine's Day I got a cute idea from my
neighbor.. she said to get a Matchbox car and have the
note say, "I Wheely Love You"
I thought it was such a great idea---
So the boys got a bag of candy and a Matchbox car
in their favorite color. Along with a new tshirt.

For dinner I went all out!
We each got to make our own dinner!
The boys thought this was the best dinner ever!!!
We ended the night with a frozen yogurt!
It was a GREAT Valentine's Day!

Friday my friend Nancy and I went to lunch.
We have decided that we are going to do this every Friday.
We are going to a NEW restaurant every Friday.
It can not be a chain.
I'm excited about the food we'll be eating and the
adventure of trying new things!
Our 1st stop was in Orem at the Tortilla Bar.

Both of us knew NOTHING about this restaurant.
You are NOT given a menu..
They only have a list of items that they "could" make you.
We started out with a granny smith apple salad.
It was drizzled with a lemon vinaigrette and sprinkled with
a little cayane pepper. Topped with freshly grated parmesan cheese.

Next we received 2 tacos.
One veggie taco and one steak taco.
It was yummy, the veggie taco was my fav!
For dessert we were given 2 sweet cheese empanadas.
Drizzled with lime honey and lime zest.
Topped with coconut flakes, toasted sesame seeds and dried figs.
It was so fun!
and really good!
It's a Must eat on our list!

Cody was able to participate in a Piano Competition.
I was so proud of him and his hours of practice and dedication!
He did such a great job!
 Cody playing...
 The 3 judges...

 Me and my piano star!
He was awarded with a SUPERIOR mark!
He really did an amazing job!
 Olivia came too.
I love that these 2 are such good friends!

One night I got a wild hair and decided to make homemade
tortillas for dinner!
They turned out really good!
I think I got inspired by The Tortilla Bar!

 Cody has officially begun orthodontics!
Here he is getting an impression done for
an appliance.
He'll get the appliance in March.
In the meantime he has spacers between his back molars.
Let the adventure begin!

Our neighborhood is AWESOME!
We have such great friends..
Today Aimee and Andrea joined me with our kids
for a field trip to the Art Museum at BYU!
It was fun for the boys to all be together!
There was this big monster and Kyle wanted
NOTHING to do with it!
haha
Kyle was actually afraid of taking any pictures
But here is Jack with Statton and Carter!
then they had a room with costumes and musical
instruments and a phone booth!
All the kids had a blast!

Today Regan got his mission call!
We were able to FaceTime him as he opened his call
We are lucky to have so many cousins who are
setting the BEST example for my 5 boys!
He was called to serve in the Columbia, Bogota Mission
He'll leave for the Columbia MTC on July 3, 2013!
Good Luck Regan!  WE LOVE YOU!

this girl and her curl = the BEST BED HEAD ever!!!

We were able to go out to dinner with 5 other couples
It was so much fun!
We ate at Thai Ruby in Provo
We all ordered something different and shared.
EVERYTHING was soooo good!

Next we headed to BYU to go bowling!
I did terrible, I blame that on my age!! haha
It was so fun and we spent the whole night laughing!
Scott & Kristina, Aaron & Aimee, Pat & Andrea, Dan & Me, Katie & Bryan
I think this is going to become a tradition once a month!

My sweet Steven was the Student of the Week!
I just love him!

Tonight for Family Home Evening Cody taught
the lesson.  It is fun now that the boys are getting a
bit older and they can participate more!
Our crazy life with these 6 kids gets better and better all the time!

Cody was leveled up in Math!
I was really proud of him!
He's worked really hard to get good grades in Math
and is now in the highest math class!
Way To Go Cody!!!

Tonight was the Blue and Gold Banquet!
Cody was in charge of the flag dismissal.
He was great!
He also got a Bear Bead!
Way To GO!

Again I ended the month with a trip to the temple!
