Cody's 1st grade class has been studying the life of Abigail Adams.
Her husband John Adams was the 2nd President of the United States.
She was a very proper woman, and loved to read. Especially poetry.
She also was an advocate for women's rights, etiquette and manners.
Today the some of the 1st graders got together for their
Abigail Adams "Tea-Party".
They have been learning about manners and etiquette.
It was so cute to see the boys escort their partner to the tea party.

He also had to pull out the chair for her and just be a gentleman!
They learned a dance too. I had Kyle and Jack with me so I had to leave early.
But Cody said it went great!
What a great thing to teach at such a young age!!!

Are they public schools in Utah way better than CA or are your kids in a charter school? That's so cool that they have so many learning activities!
