Ok so for the 1st time in LaPray history we hung Christmas lights on the OUTSIDE of the house. Dan was LESS than thrilled about his "new" project on the "honey-do" list. In fact as you can tell by the first picture there was no order and it looked (according to me) terrible!!!! Is it really just me???So I decided to get up on the ladder and fix the lights myself. Well, Dan didn't like that idea, so he fixed them----
and I LOVE the final look!!!!! All uniform and straight. Each one having it's own clip!!! My boys were literally SCREAMING with excitement. Saying, "This IS going to be the BEST Christmas!!!" Wow, who knew that lights could do that!!!!!

Anyway we are all pretty excited for the Christmas season, but Dan will not allow the light to be turned on till after Thanksgiving!!! So until next week!!!

oops, turned mine on this week. I only did a garland around the door so no big deal. It's complimenting Thanksgiving and Christmas! Post the lit picture, k?
Hahaha. I am laughing at the first picture! This is why I hired someone last year. Tyler did good this year though. It does take practice I guess!
We've only put up lights ONE year out of a decade of marriage. Every other year, we just didn't have the energy. I probably still won't do it this year, but next year for sure!!!
