Well I did it! I still can not believe it myself. I got up off my butt and started a workout routine! Actually I go to one. It is called Boot Camp with Jess! This program is a Military Style Boot Camp for 6 weeks. It is a daily program M-F for an hour a day. I go to the class that starts at 7:00 am. My first week is over. They call the first week "Hell Week". During that week you must wear a 30 pound vest throughout your workout hour!! I must say I'm pretty sore and loving every moment. Monday and Wednesday you workout the upper body. Tuesdays and Thursdays the lower body and then on Friday you meet at a High School football field for cardio day. This Friday being my first week I had to do the Cardio day with my 30 pound vest on. Because it being military style before we worked out on Friday morning the Instructor painted our faces--- (when I got home Dan thought I had been working on the car. lol)

Well at the football field we marched and sang for 2 laps around the track and then we had to run the last 2 laps making a mile. Well I got to thinking about the last time I ran a mile. I honestly believe it was in Jr. High!!!! About 22 years ago! I know what you're thinking--I'm totally out of shape, I agree with you--that's why I'm doing this!!! After the mile was over we had to run bleachers---I think we ran them for a good 30 minutes--up and down, up and down, up and down, the push-ups, the bleachers again!!! It was crazy but when we finished I felt so great!!! Sore but so great! The best part is that tomorrow I no longer have to wear the 30 pound vest. One of my New Year's Resolutions was to "get into shape" 1. Fit into a size 6/8 2. Be able to run 3 miles (well I can do 1/2 of one so far) 3. Look great (according to me) in a bathing suit by summer and 4. lose 15 pounds. I'm excited that I'm finally doing something about it!. I'm really not a lazy person but I certainly was not motivated to do this by myself. I'm excited to see how far I've come once the 6 weeks are over!!! For more information go to www.bootcampwithjess.com!!! You'll love and then we can do it together!!!!!

very cool steph....I've heard gret results!!!!
WOW!! I am really proud of you. That has to be hard with a 30 lb vest!!!
uggg, I'm sore just reading that! haha You rock Steph, keep it up!
Good for you. Sounds hard. What do they tell you about eating? That's where I stuggle. I can work out everyday for an hour but then I eat, defeating the whole purpose. I remember the very first day my trainer came, I have never been so sore in my life. That was the last time though. So you shouldn't get sore anymore. I hate being sore, you can't even walk up and down the stairs without your legs wanting to give out! Well let me know how it goes. Sounds like a great idea, I just could not get up at 7:00am.
you look hot even with mud on your face!
Wow! I am so impressed. I wish I knew about it cause I totally would have done it with you. I am going to look into it. Way to go!
